Dieter Bohlen presents his autobiography at Frankfurt Bookfair
Modern Talking
Dieter Bohlen and Thomas Anders formed the
successful disco-pop duo in 1983. Their collaboration did
not survive the 1980s, but their international success is
pretty much unmatched.
While critics raved against their lowbrow disco hit-machine,
their albums sold and sold and sold. Result: numerous Platin
records.
Due to tensions between Bohlen and Anders the band split up
in 1987.
In the late 1990s they surprised the public with a successful
reunion.
