'OSD Mittelstufe'
You are able to communicate on more specific subjects beyond
the everyday situations. Not only linguistic but also
pragmatical and intercultural knowledge is expected. Candidates
at this level are aware of regional variations of standard
German, functional use, application of registers,
colloquial German and idioms.
The OSD-Mittelstufe examination is recognized by Austrian
and some German universities as fulfilling language entrance
requirements.
